Family Court of Western Australia

Format of consent orders

You need to provide draft consent orders when you make your consent order application.

You can use the minute of consent orders form or format the orders yourself.

You need to clearly set out the orders you are requesting the Court to make by:

  • stating the orders are made by consent
  • giving each order a separate paragraph, and
  • numbering each paragraph.

Signature requirements

All parties need to sign each page of the draft consent orders, and date the last page.

You need to sign the draft orders the same day you sign the affidavit in the Application for Consent Orders. Each party has to sign the consent orders and their affidavit on the same day, but the parties can complete their signatures on different days.
