Practice Direction (No.5 of 2025)

The Chief Judge of the Family Court has issued a new Practice Direction.

Practice Direction (No. 5 of 2025) refers to modifications to certain Family Court Rules and the Court's Case Management Guidelines, and court forms which have been modified and approved for use, such changes being necessary due to the amendments to the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) which are to commence on 10 June 2025.

The Practice Direction takes effect from 10 June 2025.
