Updated Practice Guidelines to the Information Sharing MOU

The Practice Guidelines to the Court’s information sharing MOU have been updated.

The Practice Guidelines to the Memorandum of Understanding to support the sharing of information between the Family Court of Western Australia (FCWA), the Department of Justice (DoJ), the Department of Communities (Communities) and Legal Aid Western Australia (LAWA) dated January 2022 have been updated by the Protocols Committee (which includes members from the FCWA, DoJ, Communities and LAWA) in line with the recent amendments to the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and the Family Court Act 1997 (WA) related to information sharing orders.
