Practice Direction (No.6 of 2025)

The Chief Judge of the Family Court has issued a new Practice Direction.

Practice Direction (No. 6 of 2025) refers to modifications to certain Family Court Rules and court forms which have been modified and approved for use, such changes being necessary in part because of the new Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2025 which commenced earlier this year, and due to issues associated with the use of the eCourts Portal of WA.

The Practice Direction takes effect from 10 July 2025.
